Peidi Shares and Shell China Join Forces: Focus on "Dual Carbon" to Lead the Green Development of the Domestic Pet Industry

In August 2023, Shell China assisted the first domestic A-share listed company in the pet industry, Peidi shares, to successfully build a "zero-carbon factory" in Wenzhou production base, and was certified by SGS, officially achieving carbon neutrality certification, becoming the first zero-carbon digital smart factory in China's pet industry.

In the future, Peidi shares and Shell China will carry out broader and deeper cooperation in the implementation of energy-saving and consumption-reduction projects, digital smart management, fast-moving consumer goods retail and energy transformation direction exploration, and jointly explore and formulate the "zero-carbon factory" standard for the pet food industry to provide demonstration value for the industry. Recently, Peidi shares and Shell China signed a memorandum of understanding on strategic partnership framework cooperation in Shanghai and reached a strategic cooperation relationship.

Mr. Chen Zhenbiao, Chairman of Peidi shares, Ms. Chen Niehan, Deputy General Manager and President of Peidi shares, Ms. Zhang Hong, Vice President of Shell Downstream New Business Investment and Development Department, and Mr. Li Xiaojun, General Manager of Shell Lubricants Supply Chain in China, attended the signing ceremony.

At the signing ceremony, SGS, as an internationally recognized inspection, testing and certification organization, issued the "Carbon Neutrality Declaration Verification Statement" to Peidi Shares on behalf of Mr. Yue Qingsong, General Manager of Energy Efficiency and Low Carbon Services in China.
